Another van trip day as we left the loveliness of Orange for Memphis and Sunday's trip to Graceland. So snacked to the max the trip was relatively uneventful, apart from some lovely scenery and me eating too many Cheetos.
We crossed 2 state borders, but were distinctly unimpressed by the size and design of the welcome signs, especially after Texas.
We're 2 weeks in now and already we've started to adapt to our surroundings. We refer to "Gas" not petrol, use the "sidewalk" and more worryingly, I have started to like Baseball!! Its the world series at the moment and I watched a 5 hour game on TV in a bar last night and loved it. The bad thing about baseball is that nobody knows when it will end, a game can be anything from 2- whatever hours. As you can imagine Anna loves it. Anyway I'm rooting for the Tampa Bay Rays as they seem to be the underdogs.
Gotta go now as Graceland calls. Check back for the Elvis report later.
